- In 1981, drinking water was managed for the local people of Baaskharka ward no. 7 and 8.
- In 1992, a monk building (for 25 monks) was constructed in Yolmo itself.

- In 1997, nine monks of this monastery started meditating (3 years, 3 months) in the meditation center of H.E. Jyadral Rinpoche at Neding of Yolmo region, in the leadership of Lopon Pema Dorje Yolmopa, son of the head lama of this monastery.
Nine Lamas meditatied for 3 years, 3 months
- The 4th main lama Karma Reyjung Rinpoche took part in the 8th and 14th “Lama Tour Program”, organized by the Buddhist Philosophy Promotion and Monastery Development Committee, Royal Nepal, in 1979 and 1985.
- The 5th main lama Lopon Pema Dorje participated in the 34th “Lama Tour Program”, organized by Buddhist Philosophy Promotion and Monastery Development Committee, Nepal government, in 2010.
- This monastery has been providing traditional Buddhist education to various students from different places such as Sindhupalchok, Ramechhap, Sindhuli, Dolakha, Kavre, Makawanpur, and Kathmandu, including some foreign students as well.
- Many monks from this monastery have achieved various titles such as Khenpo, (Upadhyaya) Dorje Lopon (Vajracharya), Lopon (Acharya) and Umje from different famous monastic college and Buddhist University of Nepal.
- Monks from this monastery have been actively taking part in each Kargyud Monlam held in Buddhagaya, since last 2000.
- The 5th main lama and the first writer of Yolmo, Acharya Lama Dawa Sangpo Yolmopa wrote a book related to Yolmo community and the concerned dynasty titled “History of the Yarlung Dynasty” and “ History of an Indigenous People of Yolmo”. These historical books were released by Dr. Ramvaran Yadav, the first president of Nepal and H.E. the 14th Kunzing Shamar Rinpoche in 2011.
- This monastery played a vital role in bringing the Kudhung (dead body) of H.H the 14th Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche in Nepal especially after the Nepal Government denied to bring his body in Nepal, by cooperating with 39 monasteries and other different Associations with the aim of helping to the Sharminup Foundation, the Organizing Committee of Kudhung management.
- After a devastating earthquake hit Nepal in 2015, this monastery took part in relief distributing program initiated by Karmapa Shamarnak Association.
- Under the guidance and support of H.E. Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche, this monastery organized a Monlam program (Puja) for those who perished their lives in the earthquake.

- In presence of H.E. Chhokyi Nyima Rinpoche as a chief Guest, this monastery organized three days puja to remove the obstacles in reconstructing the monastery and for the peaceful rest of those who lost their lives, in the earthquake.
