3D model of the monastery to rebuild.
The most of the monasteries, monastic colleges and meditation centre, built by Sherpas, Nyeshangpas, Mugumpas and Dolpas etc in Himalayan region of the eastern and western part of Nepal are found to be conducted according to the Monastery Education Policy while preserving their Mahayana and Vajrayana way of traditions and rituals. But the monasteries built in the middle Himalayan region (Beyul Yolmo Gangara, Sindhupalchok, Nuwakot Rasuwa, Dhadhing etc.) of Nepal have not been able to practice the Gonpa education policy of Nepal. Therefore, this monastery will be rebuilt as a model of Yolmo region that follows the mainstream education policy of Nepal with following objectives:
- To develop this monastery as a residence of Karmapa and Shamarpa Rinpoche.
- To establish Dachhang (bhikchhu Sangha) and run according to the education policy of Nepal.
- To conduct a monastic college according to the education policy of Nepal Government.
- To establish a meditation centre in Beyul Yolmo Gangra.
- To build a museum that holds the memory of the stupas and monasteries destroyed by the earthquake.
- To help rebuilding branch monastery and stupas of this monastery and unified settlement.
- To build orphanage and old age house.
- To initiate health service.
- To help providing skill based training and jobs to earthquake victims.
- To help providing education in school and monastery to earthquake victims, orphans and children from poor family background.
- To continue the regular traditional, religious activities and services that the monastery has been providing to its benefactors, disciples, and devotees since the beginning.
